Trial/Witness Preparation

scalesofjustice_witnessprepAs a litigator, success or failure often hinges on your client’s ability to communicate in an effective manner.

Speaking in public is difficult enough, and the pressure of sworn testimony amplifies that pressure dramatically.

Things change under the influence of this type of pressure. Examples of characteristics and idiosyncrasies that you may not want an opponent, judge or jury to see:

- Body Language – Awkward Gestures, strange movements
- Verbal “tics” – Nervous laughs, stammering, etc.
- Fear expressed as hostility
- Anger, bitterness, and whiney behavior
- Abrasive personality
- Arrogant/Condescending tone
- Difficult dispositions
- Poor word choice

Our specialty is the ability to effectively find those characteristics in your client and mitigate them before opposing counsel is able to exploit them, before a juror is turned off, or before a judge tunes out.
